TILLIE mural
This painting of TILLIE on which the head is based is quite well-known among fans of Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band. It once graced the front of the Palace Amusements Building in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where Springsteen is from. He mentions the Palace in several of his songs including "Born to Run". The Palace was demolished in May of 2004 but the mural was saved and will be incorporated into the building that will rise in its place.
