Jor-el, father of Superman
"Superman: The Movie" opens on the planet Krypton with Jor-el (Marlon Brando) presiding over the tribunal of three Kryptonian arch criminals. His costume in this sequence consists of black tribunal robes emblazoned with the El family crest. As he presents the evidence against the criminals he wields a crystal scepter which he uses to imprison them in the eternal void known as the Phantom Zone. The costume you see here is being worn by me for DragonCon 2008 in Atlanta, GA. The crystal scepter I'm holding is an acrylic rod supplied by Mouldagraph Corp, in Nitro which they filed & polished the ends of for an asymmetrical, crystaline shape.
